Stack of Three Pink Red Fluorite Crystals with Calcite from Huanggang Mine, Inner Mongolia, China

These natural octahedral fluorite crystals are certainly a game-changer when it comes to red fluorite. The pocket from which they were found was discovered in late August 2019 at the No. 5 Mine of the Huanggang deposit. The excavation went on for three or four days until nothing was really left in that pocket.

These red crystals quickly attracted thousands of dealers and collectors from all around the world soon after they were discovered. They became the star of the 2019 Munich Show and were pretty much all gone by the end of 2019. It is not easy to acquire one with such good quality these days.
