Lustrous Double-Terminated Golden Yellow Baryte (Barite) Crystal from Chengkou, Chongqing, China

This piece comes from a small find in a town called Chengkou, close to the border of Chongqing and Sichuan province, in June 2018 when a construction team was digging a road tunnel in a hill. Most of the crystals discovered were damaged. This one is an exceptional example of this find. It features a larger doubly-terminated baryte floater crystal with beautiful golden yellow color sitting on a smaller cluster. The crystals are quite gemmy. Top notch specimen.
