Large “Tanzanite Blue” Dodecahedral Fluorite Crystal with Calcite from Yongchun Co., Fujian, China

Here is a large complete floater crystal of the so-called “tanzanite-blue” fluorite with a bit of dogtooth calcite crystals. The crystal measures 6.5cm at its widest point. Such large crystals are only seen from early finds. The color of the crystal is rather dark under natural light. There is a naturally-occurring deep crack in which natural recrystalization can be seen.
